We want to keep you informed on the steps we are taking to maintain a safe environment for our patients and staff.

 

Visitation Restrictions:

We are following CDC guidance on minimizing COVID-19 risks.

 

There is no social visitation, per the governor’s executive order.

 

Staff Screening:

All staff are screened every shift, every day. Temperatures are checked twice per shift.

 

Facility Status Summary:

Crown Point Health Suites staff are not working at other hospitals or facilities. This helps to minimize exposure of residents and patients.

 

Our staff is practicing proper hand hygiene throughout their shift. In addition, we have implemented the following mitigating steps:

 

• Implemented face mask utilization for patients when they are outside of their room.
• Group outings, activities, and communal dining remain discontinued.
• 87% of our rooms are private, this helps to maximize social distancing.
• We monitor for cough (new/worsening), shortness of breath (new/worsening), and temperature on all patients at least once per shift.
• The facility has an established facility-wide Infection Prevention Control Program (IPCP). This includes standards, policies, and procedures that are current and based on national standards for undiagnosed respiratory illness and COVID-19.
• We have implemented an early detection surveillance program which tracks/trends employee illnesses and resident health.
• We have screening processes in place, with restriction criteria in place. All entries have screening sites.

 

Enhanced Cleaning Protocols and Precautions:

We have implemented extra cleaning precautions and provided additional training to our staff on the use of cleaning supplies.

We understand communicating with your loved ones is important. Each of our guest rooms have a telephone with local and long-distance capabilities. You can contact your loved one at 806.687.6640.
